Our Mission

To provide an opportunity for all ages to engage in physical fitness, proper conditioning, and recreational activity under the environment of safe sport, particularly for children.

To provide a safe and supportive environment for child protection in swimming.

To provide an environment for participants to effectively learn swimming skills and compete in organized swimming competitions.

To encourage young swimmers to achieve excellence in swimming as well as academics.

Mountain Club Swimmers Participated in the NM Swimming 2024 Long Course State Championships

The 2024 New Mexico Swimming Long Course State Championships was held on July 11-14 at New Mexico State University Outdoor Aquatic Center, Las Cruces, New Mexico. Mountain club had 24 qualified swimmers in the championships. We entered 21 of them with 110 individual events and 21 team relays. Our swimmers finished the 4th place as a team with 456 points. The results of all the teams in the championships are shown in the table at the right.

  • Zdenek, Magnus, Javier, and Justin won the 1st place of Boys 12 & Under 400M Free Relay. Mothers of the swimmers are officials in the Championships.
  • Justin Won the High Point 3rd Place.

Mountain Club Won the 1st Place in NM Games 2024

  • The New Mexico Games 2024 (swimming) was held on June 16th (Sunday) at West Mesa Aquatic Center in Albuquerque. Mountain club won the first place, Duke City Barracuda finished in the second place, and Kraken Team earned the third place. Mountain Club had 27 swimmers with 81 individual events and 9 relays during this meet. 
  • The age groups are 8 & under,9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, and Masters age groups in 5 years increment.
  • Here are our nine relay finishes:
  • 1st & 3rd finish for Mixed 14 & under 200 Medley relays
  • 2nd & 8th finish for Mixed 200 Medley relays
  • 5th finish for Mixed 400 (8×50) Free relays
  • 1st & 3rd finish for Mixed 14 & under 200 Free relays
  • 2nd & 6th finish for Mixed 200 Free relays
  • All our Mountain swimmers had achieved top 3 finishes in their age groups.
